ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Adarsha Vidyalaya Borobazar(AVB) is one among the 38 nos. of Adarsha Vidyalayas of Assam located in the block of Borobazar of Chirang district of Assam. Adarsha Vidyalayas are popularly known as Model Schools of Assam which are operationalized under the Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan Govt. of Assam.
Initially our school started with the classes I and VI under the CBSE course from the academic year 2022. Now the school has classes I, II, VI & VII with total enrollment of 320 students i.e. two sections for each class with 40 no. of students in each setions.
The school has the system for admission in the classes I and VI only.
The admission procedure for the school is purely based on an Entrance Test for the classes of VI and based on an open Lottery System for the class I.
The School is located in an eco-friendly place which is perfect for the education system.

1) Setting up of Adarsha Vidyalaya (Model School) - one in every Educationally Backward Blocks.
2) Will have an infrastructure & facilities of the same standard as of Kendriya Vidyalayas.
3) Adarsha Vidyalaya (Model school) will have adequate ICT infrastructure, Internet connectivity and full time computer teachers.
4) Adarsha Vidyalaya (Model school) will have appropriate pace setting activities so that schools in the neighbourhood can benefit.
